Services: Retirement housing facilities may offer residents a variety of support services such as meals, recreational programs and daily checks of telephone reassurance. The list of members below provides affordable (subsidized) retirement housing.
Payment: Fees and monthly charges vary, often depending on the size of the apartment, the services offered and the income group the building is designated to serve. Government subsidies allow senior apartment management to offer lower rental rates to provide people who qualify according to income.
