Background: If your housing facility is subject to the reporting requirement for economic stimulus funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the first quarterly report is due Oct. 10. Make sure that the data you submit to the Dun and Bradstreet Universal Numbering System and to Central Contractor Registration matches Internal Revenue Service records to avoid processing problems. If you encounter registration problems, keep paper copies of any error messages or denials you receive to show your good faith compliance effort. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development developed a fact sheet to help you determine how many jobs were created. In filling out the form, the individually named facility is the “prime recipient” and the funds received are in the “grant/loan” funding category.
HUD has posted the lists of properties, by contracts, that will be required to perform ARRA related reporting between Oct 1 and 10, 2009. The list can be found here.
