Congress passed a continuing resolution to keep senior housing and Older Americans Act programs in operation through the end of October while the regular spending bills for 2010 are finalized. The resolution ensures that Section 8, Section 202 and Section 811 project-based assistance contracts (PRAC) can be renewed during that period and beyond.
