Resource Systems’ 2009 Nursing Assistant of the Year Scholarship
Program

Resource Systems (owner of MxManage) has announced its 2009 Nursing Assistant of the Year Scholarship Program. Last year’s program received over 250 scholarship nominations from across the country, and the winner, Crystal Enwiller of Rosholt, South Dakota, was chosen based on her commitment to the long-term care field and dedication to the staff and residents of Rosholt Care Center. Crystal received a $5,000 scholarship toward the completion of her nursing degree to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Members are encouraged to nominate their dedicated staff members online at www.nascholarship.com. Nominations will be accepted through February 28, 2010, and a winner will be selected by an expert panel from the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators (AANAC), based upon criteria such as employment longevity, interaction with residents, family and staff, coaching or mentoring abilities, work ethic, and quality of work. Nominating facilities do not need to be a MxManage or CareTracker customer to nominate and/or win the Scholarship. In fact, two out of the three finalists from last year’s nominations, were not customers.
