The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued a new form and notice implementing a requirement that owners must provide applicants the option to include supplemental contact information for third parties who may be contacted to support the applicant or tenant and help resolve any application or tenancy issues. AAHSA collected and submitted member comments on an early draft, which substantially impacted the final document. The new form, HUD 92006, is now available and required to be incorporated into application packets within 90 days. Click here to read more about it.
