The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is offering $20 million in grants to help elderly residents and non-elderly residents with disabilities the services they need to continue to live independently in their own homes. HUD is making these grants available through the its Service Coordinator Program that will support the hiring of service coordinators to help frail and at risk elderly individuals and persons with disabilities access health care, meals and other critical support services.
